Where It All Began
Herbert Theiss | Founder of Theiss Landscape Works | Established 1968
Long before Theiss Landscape Works became the company it is today, it began in 1968 with a vision, a strong work ethic, and a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces.
Herbert laid the foundation for what would become a family-owned and operated business. Through his hard work, dedication, and commitment to doing things the right way, he established the values that continue to guide our company today.
Although he is no longer involved in the day-to-day work of landscaping, his influence can still be seen throughout Theiss Landscape Works. What he started nearly six decades ago has grown into a business carried on by the next generation of our family.
We are proud to honor his role in our story and grateful for the foundation he built. His legacy is a reminder that Theiss Landscape Works is more than a business—it is a family tradition that has been passed down through generations.
