Weed Control
Nothing can distract more from the beauty of your landscape than the presence of weeds. A "weed" can be defined in simplest terms as any plant that is out of place. To your landscape, it is the presence of any plant or grass that grows where your planned plant varieties should be. The application of herbicides and mechanical pulling helps combat against weeds.

If you are a "Do-It-Yourself" type person, but have never sprayed for weeds before, we urge you to be very careful. Herbicides come in two types: selective herbicides and non-selective herbicides. Seletive herbicides are designed to combat against specific plants(weeds) that pose a problem, while having no effect on surrounding plant material. Non-selective herbicides, on the other hand, do not care what type of plant you are spraying, it will kill what it touches. If you are not careful, choosing the wrong type of herbicide can be very damaging and costly.
